Have a heat pump installed in Amsterdam
Are you considering a heat pump, but unsure if your home is suitable? We first assess the insulation, radiators, and current gas consumption, and only then will we provide advice. If a heat pump turns out not to be a sensible choice, we will tell you that as well.

Is a heat pump right for your home?
Most companies that install heat pumps start with the unit. We start with the home. This is not out of caution, but because a heat pump in a poorly insulated house will never do what you expect of it.
A heat pump works well in a home that can be heated to a comfortable temperature at a low level. For this, the insulation must be in order. If this is not the case, a hybrid heat pump is often the better choice: you keep your central heating boiler for the coldest days, and the heat pump does the work for the rest of the year.
We assess what is technically and financially sensible on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes that is a fully electric heat pump. Sometimes that is a hybrid setup. And sometimes the answer is that you would be better off insulating first, or that a new central heating boiler is the wiser investment for the time being.
What we look at before giving advice
For accurate heat pump advice, we look at the entire home, not just the unit:
- The insulation. Determines whether your home can be heated at a low temperature. This is the most important factor.
- The radiators. Existing radiators are often sized for a high supply temperature. This is not always a problem, but it does need to be assessed.
- Underfloor heating present. Underfloor heating naturally operates at a low temperature, making it a favorable starting point.
- Your current gas consumption. Provides a realistic picture of your home's heat demand, better than a paper calculation.
- The existing installation. What is currently installed partly determines whether a hybrid setup makes technical sense.
Based on this, we advise which installation yields the best return in your situation.
Hybrid or fully electric heat pump?
Hybrid heat pump. The heat pump takes over the heating for most of the year; your central heating boiler kicks in on the coldest days and for hot water. Suitable for homes where the insulation is not yet sufficient for a fully electric system. The intervention is more limited, and you retain the reliability of your existing boiler.
Fully electric heat pump. The central heating boiler is removed, and the heat pump provides heating and hot water. This requires a well-insulated home that can be heated comfortably at a low temperature. The efficiency is higher, but only if the home can handle it.
Which version is suitable depends on the home, the insulation, the heat demand, and the existing installation. We determine that on-site, not over the phone.
What do customers say about us?

Great service! I had an issue with my boiler after the water pressure dropped too low. Ben quickly arranged a visit, and Akram arrived the same evening. Akram was very polite, understanding, and professional, and resolved the issue in no time. I really appreciated how smoothly and efficiently everything was handled. Highly recommended!
Excellent service, both central heating maintenance and cleaning of all ventilation ducts.
ISDE subsidy
You may be eligible for the ISDE subsidy for a heat pump. Technical conditions apply to the unit and the installation. We will inform you about the options and these conditions so that you can take them into account in your decision.
This is how the heat pump installation works with us.
Step 1: We come by and assess the property. Insulation, radiators, underfloor heating, gas consumption, and the existing installation. No standard form, but an assessment of what is available.
Step 2: You will hear whether a heat pump is the right choice for you. Including the answer that this might not be the case yet. You will receive this advice even if no order follows.
Step 3: A quotation for the complete installation. Not only the device, but everything needed to make the system work as intended.
Step 4: Installed and calibrated by our own technicians. The installation is carried out and adjusted to your home, not to a standard setting.
Frequently asked questions about heat pumps
That depends mainly on the insulation. Your home must be able to be heated to a comfortable temperature at a low level. If that is not the case, a hybrid heat pump is usually the better choice. We assess this on-site based on the insulation, the radiators, and your current gas consumption.
With a hybrid setup, your central heating boiler remains and kicks in on the coldest days. With a fully electric heat pump, the boiler is eliminated. Fully electric provides the highest efficiency, but only in a home suitable for it.

Not necessarily. Existing radiators are often designed for a higher supply temperature, and whether that is a problem varies from home to home. We assess this during the visit, along with the rest of the installation.
Then we will tell you that. We would rather not sell a heat pump than one that does not perform as you expect in your home, because you will suffer from that for years, and ultimately so will we. In that case, we will discuss what makes sense: insulation, a hybrid system, or a new central heating boiler for the time being. You will receive that advice from us, even if it does not result in an order.
How much does a heat pump installation cost?
The costs depend on the type of heat pump, the condition of the existing installation, and what modifications need to be made in the home. After the on-site assessment, you will know what is required and what it will cost. You will receive a fixed price in writing, and you pay what is stated in the quotation. The preliminary advice is free and completely without obligation.
